About Sat2Twitter enables users of satellite devices to update their positions straight to the Twitter micro-messaging service. Currently supporting SPOT Messenger and Email & Iridium services, Sat2Twitter hopes to support Thuraya and other satellite devices soon. Write us an email showing your interest to spur on development.

Sat2Twitter was proudly developed by Arktisma.com, a company specialising in creating products and services for people who wander. The sea, the mountains, the world.

Hosting by serversaurus.com - an environmentally & ethically responsible hosting company.
SPOT Sat2Twitter uses your Twitter login details to send updates, and also requires you to add a special email address to your 'Status OK' list of email address, inside the administration area for your device on Findmespot.com. Once setup, sending updates from your SPOT Messenger will update your Twitter followers with a pre-determined message, and a Google maps link to your exact position. Your details will never, ever be sold or redistributed for any reason.
Iridium & Email Sat2Twitter uses your Twitter login details, and also provides you with a special email address to send your updates from. The Twitter phone numbers for TXT message updating do not support Iridium. Therefore, the workaround is to provide a unique email address to send your updates from via Iridium handsets. Including your latitude and longitude pair in your updates, will provide Twitter followers with a Google maps link to see your position.
